S.S.Daley Fall 2025: Scottish landscapes, bold color palettes, and Britain\u2019s rebellious musical past collided in S.S. Daley\u2019s Fall 2025 collection<\/a>, presented at London Fashion Week<\/u><\/a>. With a soundtrack of The Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths, and Marianne Faithfull. The show was a tribute to British heritage, artistic ingenuity, and the designer\u2019s personal icons. This season, the Liverpool-born designer turned to the Scottish Colourists for inspiration. A group of early 20th century painters known for their atmospheric landscapes and electrifying use of color. The influence was seen in texture such as – felted textures looking to painterly brushstrokes. While prints transformed garments into abstract canvases.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Daley, a recipient of both the LVMH<\/a> Prize and the British Fashion Council Award<\/a><\/u>, has built his reputation on reinterpreting British working class uniforms with theatrical storytelling. His latest collection, spanning 42 men’s and women’s clothing, affirmed his ability to look to historical references as an influence for modern menswear. S.S. Daley\u2019s outerwear was the backbone of the collection. Floral jacquard bomber jackets with leather lapels, checked trench coats with a Mod edge. Plus fisherman\u2019s duffle coats felted to resemble the landscapes of\u00a0Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell<\/a><\/u>, whose 1920s canvas Iona Croft<\/em>\u00a0served as a key reference point. Even the accessories bore the painter\u2019s touch, with matching bags echoing the windswept hues of Scotland\u2019s western isles.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

S.S.Daley\u2019s Tribute to London<\/h3>\n\n

Playful yet poignant, the collection\u2019s narrative extended beyond art history. A burgundy knit bore the stitched phrase, \u201cStay Faithfull to Marianne\u201d. An homage to the late singer and style icon Marianne Faithfull, who passed away in January. The collection also paid tribute to London itself. S.S.Daley embraced the city\u2019s essence by featuring T-shirts emblazoned with imagined cityscapes, including Big Ben and whimsical park scenes populated by ducks and dogs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Daley\u2019s signature silhouettes, frilly button downs, knits and impossibly wide legged trousers, were present, but this time elevated with regal tailoring and a heightened sense of drama. The result was a seamless fusion of tradition and eccentricity. A formula that has captivated his most famous admirer, Harry Styles. Styles, an early supporter who wore S.S.Daley\u2019s undergraduate collection in his \u2018Golden<\/em>\u2019 music video, has since become a key investor in the label. Further propelling its inflection a plus for S.S. Daley, plugging into a fashion conscious fanbase and demographic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Firstly, S.S.Daley\u2019s Fall 2025 show was a celebration of Britain\u2019s artistic and cultural legacy. However with this latest outing, S.S.Daley cements his place as one of London\u2019s most compelling voices in menswear. A designer who, much like the Scottish Colourists<\/em>, dares to see the world in richer, bolder colors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Putting on my mom's sequin tube tops and high heeled shoes and then putting on a dance show in the lobby or the restaurant of the hotel\/residence we lived in. It was the best childhood ever. Dress-up, dancing, playing with barbies, and drawing were my favorite things to do. I have not changed one bit today. If I am creating I am happy.
