Chinese Emojis and Spectacular Colour, Brighten Manish Arora's Paris Runway for Fall 2018/2019

Yet another Paris fashion week went by and the city greeted the fashionistas, bloggers, journalists, celebrities, and designers with crispy cold weather. While the rest of the city was paralyzed, the minus degrees did not stop the fashion world; as they say, “the show must go on.

”On the third day of Paris fashion week, Indian fashion designer, Manish Aurora brought summer back to Paris with his colorful and bright collection. There were many hints to Japan; starting with the models’ makeup, which referred to the Geisha culture, koi fish on the skirts and beautiful pink cherry blossoms blooming on the dresses like it was spring.

The Chinese emoji, Tuzki, also made an appearance in the collection. Tuzki (pronounced Tuts-ki) was created in 2006 by Beijing illustrator Momo Wang. Over the years, it became an internet sensation in China. By using the famous bunny Manish created a Manga like, fun ambiance and it definitely inspired IRK Magazine to play. The main colors used in this seasons’ collection, orange, and hot pink, really brought the much needed hot temperatures back to Paris. With this collection, he brought a lot of positive energy and opened some minds that black is not the only color.
