Elie Saab’s Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2025: An Ode to the Wild, Feminine Spirit

During Paris Fashion Week, Elie Saab enchanted one more time his audience with his Spring/Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection, drawing inspiration from the untamed allure of the African wilderness.

The show was a seamless blend of elegance and raw natural beauty, transporting the audience to a place where the arid sands meet the endless sky. With a front row studded by celebrities such as Nina Dobrev, Olivia Palermo, and Kelly Rutherford, Saab’s collection captured the essence of the wild while preserving his signature feminine touch.

From the very first look, Saab set the tone for the journey he would take his audience on. Intricate textures met airy, lightweight fabrics, creating an ethereal blend that celebrated the female form. Tranquil earthy tones—evocative of lush springs and barren plains—formed the backbone of the collection, embodying the serene, grounded essence of nature itself. Raffia-laced tulle, crochet weaves, and fireball lily bod-con dresses emerged, as if swept in on the desert winds, grounding each piece in the spirit of the wilderness.

The surprise of the show, however, was a dramatic transition, where the Elie Saab woman transformed from a sun-kissed day in the desert to the twilight hours of romance and intrigue. As the lights dimmed, delicate sheer dresses emerged, adorned with intricate English lace. These pieces shimmered and whispered, capturing the elusive beauty of evening breezes and dusky skies. Here, Saab’s craftsmanship took on a more delicate form, showcasing a perfect marriage between femininity and power.

Even as he ventured into safari-inspired styles, Saab never lost sight of his unique design ethos. Feminine silhouettes remained at the core of the collection, with soft, flowing garments that balanced strength and elegance. This collection was for the woman who embodies the world she wears—connected to the earth but soaring beyond, belonging as much to the wild, untamable land as to the endless sky that stretches over it.

In a collection that traversed the mystery of the wild and the romantic allure of twilight, Elie Saab reminded us that fashion can be a journey—a transportive experience that evokes not just beauty but a connection to something greater. The designer once again proved that his signature is not just in the details, but in the story his pieces tell, bringing to life a world where the wild and the woman are one.
