Kendra Dresser
A bold celebration of Grayson Perry’s art through Tatty Devine’s unique designs.
Tatty Devine has always celebrated bold creativity. Founded in 1999, the brand grew during a wave of British fashion inspired by DIY spirit and fearless self-expression. Today, it honours Grayson Perry’s art with a striking jewellery collection. Tatty Devine has combined art and jewellery throughout its colourful, handmade pieces. Now, they proudly present the Tatty Devine x Grayson Perry jewellery collection. This collection celebrates Perry’s 65th birthday and ties into his Delusions of Grandeur exhibition at The Wallace Collection.

The Designers and The Collaboration
Tatty Devine’s founders, Harriet Vine MBE and Rosie Wolfenden MBE, have pushed wearable art forward since their early days at Camden Market. Their collaboration with Grayson Perry took Tatty Devine’s craft to exciting new places. Harriet Vine, Creative Director, says the partnership was a natural fit. Rosie Wolfenden, Managing Director, adds, “This collection grew from friendship and a shared love of making.” Together, their jewellery blends playful style with expert craftsmanship, a perfect match for Perry’s artistic rebellion.
Tatty Devine Transforms Perry’s Art into Bold Accessories
The collection draws inspiration from Delusions of Grandeur, Perry’s newest exhibition. It turns Perry’s latest artworks into jewellery made from bright acrylic, hand-finished with ink and crystals by skilled UK makers.

A standout piece is the limited edition Family Tree Statement Necklace. A layered narrative jewel inspired by Shirley’s family tree, Limited to 50 pieces, it explores Shirley, Perry’s outsider artist alter ego featured in the exhibition. This necklace maps Shirley’s imagined ancestry, combining storytelling with Tatty Devine’s bold design.
Iconic Motifs Reimagined
Furthermore, the collection brings back Perry’s iconic symbols:
- Alan Measles, Perry’s childhood teddy and spiritual muse. A nostalgic nod to Perry’s teddy muse, reimagined as a brooch.
- The AM1 motorcycle, a vibrant tribute to Perry’s custom bike built for a pilgrimage. A colourful tribute to Perry’s customised motorbike.
- Vases etched with “I Did It All For Art,” echoing Perry’s ceramic storytelling. Playful miniature vases in acrylic, a wink to Perry’s ceramics.
These motifs become cheeky, colourful declarations when worn through pieces from Tatty Devine.

Why This Collection Resonates
This collaboration goes beyond jewellery. It questions who owns art and how it lives outside museums. By mixing Perry’s stories with Tatty Devine’s playful style, the collection breaks down barriers between high culture and everyday fashion. It honours tradition while adding fresh ideas. These pieces invite wearers to embrace individuality.

She’s interested in the connection between image and meaning: how a campaign, an outfit, or a trend can say something deeper about identity, mood, and the cultural moment.
She’s especially drawn to how Generation Z uses fashion and beauty to express individuality, often in bold, layered, and playful ways. She’s also curious about how social media continues to reshape storytelling, changing how we create, share, and connect through visual culture.
To Kendra, fashion is more than just style; it’s a language! One that reflects who we are, how we feel, and what we stand for. She’s committed to sustainability and believes fashion and culture should not only inspire but also respect the planet.
