Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day in Paris returned on September 29, 2025, with its second edition. The show offered a clear and elegant look into the future of Chinese womenswear. It took place at the historic Monnaie de Paris and featured three design houses: NEXY.CO, YINER, and LAURÈL.
The event, organized by BASFA and supported by the Futian District Government, aimed to build stronger links between Futian’s fashion industry and the global scene. Therefore, this wasn’t just a showcase, it was a strategic moment in China’s fashion evolution.
NEXY.CO: Quiet Strength with Modern Simplicity
NEXY.CO began with its Spring-Summer 2026 collection, “The Time of MULAN.” Inspired by the magnolia flower, the designs reflected beauty through resilience. While the lines were simple, the message felt deep and personal.
The collection blended soft tailoring with minimalist elegance. As a result, it offered versatility for today’s urban woman. Each look balanced confidence with calm.

YINER: Inspired by Nature’s Order
Following NEXY.CO, YINER introduced “The Order of Nature.” This collection explored growth, both natural and personal. Inspired by fruit and the golden spiral, it connected organic form with modern design.
Flowing fabrics and subtle geometry shaped each piece. Because of this approach, the collection felt grounded yet fresh. YINER showed that simplicity can carry deep meaning.

LAURÈL: Structured Beauty, Timeless Appeal
Finally, LAURÈL brought its Bauhaus heritage to the runway with “The Eternity of Order.” Founded in Munich and now part of the Ellassay Group, the brand presented sharp tailoring with fluid movement.
The color palette, ebony and fresh green, added contrast without drama. Meanwhile, silk and linen created both strength and softness. Altogether, the looks felt architectural yet approachable.

Shenzhen Futian’s Broader Vision
Beyond the fashion, Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day in Paris revealed the district’s long-term ambition. Located in the heart of Shenzhen, Futian is becoming a key force in China’s design economy. In fact, fashion now contributes 15% of its regional GDP.
This year’s show also included an AI-generated soundtrack. Additionally, a new partnership with Luxurynsight will give Futian-based brands access to global analytics tools. As a result, local designers will have the same insights used by top European luxury houses.
A Clear Step Forward
Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day in Paris was more than a stylish moment. It was a clear step toward global relevance. Through the voices of NEXY.CO, YINER, and LAURÈL, the event highlighted the strength of a region blending creativity, technology, and tradition.

One day when I was barely two my mom let me push her out of her bedroom. She was curious so she ran outside the house so she could watch me through the window. I climbed up on a chair by her vanity and started putting on her makeup. I loved playing dress up as a kid. Putting on my mom's sequin tube tops and high heeled shoes and then putting on a dance show in the lobby or the restaurant of the hotel/residence we lived in. It was the best childhood ever. Dress-up, dancing, playing with barbies, and drawing were my favorite things to do. I have not changed one bit today. If I am creating I am happy.
Now I am in Paris for the second time in my life and I am having a ball playing with my partner in crime Julien Crouigneau. We founded IRK Magazine together in 2015 and we are proud to collaborate with some amazing artists, and influencers.
We are also a photography duo under the pseudonym French Cowboy. We love to tell stories and create poetic images that are impactful.
