Finally I can wear teddy bear ears and a unicorn horn in public! As always Manish Arora didn’t fail to bring out my colour clashing rainbow sock wearing inner child and transform it into a seriously funky and envious collection. The famous “Less is more” phrase was clearly thrown out the door when creating this collection and I couldn’t be happier given the current minimal colour block trend.

Light up back packs, Flame licked platform boots and trenches scrawled with graffiti made up the Finally Normal People Autumn/Winter 19 collection and I couldn’t be more in love. Inspired by a band of motley cru festival misfits in a haze of dystopian futurism the collection projected a nostalgic adolescent ambience whilst fluorescent mesh sneakers solidified the wanna be 80’s festival goer in all of us.

This collection was bright, colourful, eccentric and engaging, practically everything you want in a fashion show am I right? In a world of minimalism and “less is more” Manish Arora made it very clear that he doesn’t abide by any
rules or regulations, and this is what allowed for his Autumn/ Winter 19 collection to be a cut above the rest.
