Present day Paris is brimming with countless multicultural fashionistas living their hectic lives and traffic galore. Everyone, including our grandmas, can be seen with their heads consumed by the media, selfies, and cellphones. These thoughts had us reminiscing about the country side and a simpler time.
This season, Victoria/Tomas invoked the charm of the mid-west but making it fashion with a delicate gingham yellow button-up paired with a plaid skirt and riding boots. The blue carpet, emblematic of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, was the venue for this ready-to-wear show. Multiple patterns and contrasting fabrics created daring looks. A particular piece that stuck out from the rest was a beige trench coat with bold red sleeves. Modernised cowboy boots also made a distinguished appearance styled together with a red skirt and a vintage-inspired flowy striped top.
