ArtExpo New York returns to Pier 36 from April 9–12, 2026, where it will celebrate its 49th annual edition. As one of the longest-running art fairs in the United States, the four-day event continues to attract artists, collectors, and industry professionals from around the world.

Each year, ArtExpo brings together gallery owners, art dealers, interior designers, and collectors in one dynamic setting. In addition, attendees can explore thousands of works, including paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclées, lithographs, and glasswork. As a result, visitors experience a broad survey of contemporary and fine art under one roof.

Over 1,000 Artists at Pier 36

This year, more than 1,000 established and emerging artists will exhibit their work across 70,000 square feet. Furthermore, over 200 galleries, art publishers, and dealers will participate.

Over the past decade, the [SOLO] program has grown into a premier platform for independent artists. Through this initiative, artists gain direct exposure to gallery owners and publishers. At the same time, collectors and enthusiasts discover new talent in a focused setting.

Curated Programming and Special Projects

Beyond the exhibitions, organizers have planned an engaging schedule of programming. For example, ArtLabs will present curated, site-specific projects created by galleries, institutions, and art collectives.

Similarly, the Spotlight Program will highlight select galleries and artists. Each participant will create a focused exhibition designed specifically for the fair. In doing so, the program offers collectors a deeper and more immersive viewing experience.

Moreover, the curatorial team will introduce the Discoveries Collection. This feature will showcase standout works selected from across the fair. Altogether, these programs add depth and energy to the event. Organizers will announce the full programming schedule in March.
