Instagram Photography of the Year Award PIPAs from July 10 - September 1 2019

Photography is a very democratic art. There is no age limit, it is never too late to start and almost everyone owns a camera or at least a telephone. Today everyone is a photographer for the annoyance of a few and the pleasure of many.  All these new photographers fludd instagram with millions of photos every day. The Photobox Instagram Photography Award started in 2018 to award winners in ten categories for the best instagram photo. All you have to do is post your picture under #thepipas2019 until the first of September 2019.

The categories range from animal to art, from family to fashion, from landscape, to travel and sport. The categories Drones- view from above, the life of mothers and portrait are new this year. Fifteen pictures will be nominated by each category. The prize for the best photo is 5000 Euros, the winner of each category will receive 500 Euros. Who is likely to win? Last year Darren Hall won the award with a picture of  his dog jumping after a tennis ball. D.H. today is a successful entrepreneur specialised in dog photography. The Jury last year appreciated a creative interpretation of the categories. Part of the Jury of 2019 are Eamonn McCabe ancient Chief Photo editor of the Guardian, the famous french fashion photographer Jean-Marie Périer, the Chef Editor at Elle Magazine Farrah Storr, Donnia Ghezlane-Lala Chef Editor of Cheese by Konbini and Darren Hall. 


Note, you do not have to own a dog to win just a camera and a picture submitted by September 1. #thepipas2019  and the category #fashion
