JÉRÔME PROCHIANTZ AT MODERNE ART FAIR 2025

Jérôme Prochiantz will showcase an extraordinary selection of sixty photographic prints from his private collection at the Moderne Art Fair 2025, held in Paris from October 23 to 26. This unique exhibition, set in the prestigious Place de la Concorde, celebrates the eclectic vision of Prochiantz and his commitment to sharing photography as cultural heritage.

An Exceptional Look into Jérôme Prochiantz’s Collection

A new side of Jérôme Prochiantz’s remarkable collection will appear inside the Moderne Art Fair’s elegant temporary pavilions. Consequently, sixty carefully chosen prints will hang in a scenography inspired by the original arrangement in his Paris apartment. Evidently, this space was devoted to passion and a personal connection with each work.

Moreover, this presentation highlights the range of Prochiantz’s taste. It unites iconic photographers such as Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin, and Masahisa Fukase. Each print offers its own story and shows links between generations and movements in photography.

A Visionary Collector Committed to Transmission

In recent years, Jérôme Prochiantz has become one of the most generous collectors of his time. His donation of 368 prints to the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) enriched the national photography archives in a lasting way. This contribution proves his belief that collecting is not only about private enjoyment. It is also about preserving and sharing cultural memory.

As a result, this exhibition shows his wish to open his collection to a wide audience. The Moderne Art Fair is the perfect place to connect collectors, institutions, and art lovers in a dynamic exchange.

A New Chapter for Moderne Art Fair

This year, the Moderne Art Fair will move from the Champs-Élysées to the iconic Place de la Concorde. Therefore, it will unfold in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement. The bright, purpose-built pavilions will host nearly sixty galleries from France and abroad. In addition, the fair will present a bold vision for modern art, historical design, and contemporary creation.

This relocation reflects a clear commitment to renewal and international visibility. It also resonates with the spirit of Jérôme Prochiantz and his singular collection.

One day when I was barely two my mom let me push her out of her bedroom. She was curious so she ran outside the house so she could watch me through the window. I climbed up on a chair by her vanity and started putting on her makeup. I loved playing dress up as a kid. Putting on my mom's sequin tube tops and high heeled shoes and then putting on a dance show in the lobby or the restaurant of the hotel/residence we lived in. It was the best childhood ever. Dress-up, dancing, playing with barbies, and drawing were my favorite things to do. I have not changed one bit today. If I am creating I am happy.

Now I am in Paris for the second time in my life and I am having a ball playing with my partner in crime Julien Crouigneau. We founded IRK Magazine together in 2015 and we are proud to collaborate with some amazing artists, and influencers.

We are also a photography duo under the pseudonym French Cowboy. We love to tell stories and create poetic images that are impactful.
