Kenneth Ize FW20 Debut in Paris: Tradition, Elegance and Naomi Campbell

The Austrian-Nigerian designer, who was an LVMH prize finalist in September 2019, presented his new FW20 collection during the women’s Fashion Week in Paris combining African heritage, craftsmanship and know-how with ultra elegant looks. Naomi Campbell, who previously already walked for the designer, made a special guest appearance at this season's presentation by closing the show in a colorful dress in stripes which the signature look of Kenneth Ize.

The show presented both clothing for women and men and had a line up of well known models which underlined the high ambitions of the young designer. The show was opened by Imaan Hammam, followed up by Adwoa Aboah, Lindsey Wixson, Alton Mason and finally closed by Naomi Campbell.


Kenneth Ize aims to preserve the tradition of hand-made textile making which is becoming a rarity. The result is a collection that is humble, human and down to earth but at the same time classy and elegant.

After the show, top model Naomi Campbell shared on Instagram how proud she was of the young designer: “Congratulations @kennethize on your first show in Paris today. I’m so proud of you Beautiful collection, thank you. For First Time the seasonal collections in Paris have 3 AFRICAN DESIGNERS. Kenneth Ize is truly a designer we are excited to see more from.
