In line with the Houses rich floral history, creative director Christine Phung, transposes Leonard Paris to the present. With a fresh modern touch inspired by the tech forward energy found in the Far East today Phung has overlapped it with traditional kimonos and samurai dress. The collection injects these clean lines and shapes with color blocking and Leonard Paris's signature flora prints. Color blocking as negative space accentuates the patterns used throughout.
From the start of the show the unusual combination of light nude color space surrounding exotic orchid prints grabbed our attention. A mix of tailoring and flowing silhouettes are embellished with puffed sleeves. Futuristic fabrics including technical taffeta and neoprene highlight the collections modern touch. The collection includes a series of quilted puffer jackets that infuse summer in winter. Streetwear includes signature animal prints on both casual and evening looks.
