Since the 1960s, songwriters have transformed private thoughts into public expressions of rebellion. Dacus continues that tradition with “Bus Back To Richmond” and “More Than Friends.”

The first track feels cinematic. It carries the weight of return, of homecoming, of unfinished stories. Each note lingers like the pause before memory takes hold.
More Than Friends
The second single explores boundaries. Desire collides with restraint, friendship strains under the tension of almost-love. As a result, intimacy becomes both fragile and powerful.
Limited Vinyl Release
Not only that, the songs will exist on a limited 7” vinyl. Vintage Bottle colour. Only 2,000 copies. Consequently, each pressing feels like an artefact.

Album Reimagined
Yesterday, Dacus revealed new artwork for Forever Is A Feeling. Jon Henry photographed a painting by Will St. John. Therefore, the album now holds the cover she originally imagined. It feels painterly, melancholy, mythic.

Wedding Rituals On Stage
Moreover, Dacus is on her second North American tour leg. However, this is not a typical tour. She is officiating weddings for fans mid-show. Because of this, her concerts feel communal, part celebration, part ritual.

The tour has already sold out at Radio City, Red Rocks, and The Greek. Up next: Vancouver, Richmond, and festival stops at Shaky Knees and All Things Go. For instance, the Richmond date promises the intimacy of homecoming.
