Designed Serenity
Designed by Block1: Design, in collaboration with South African designer Vernon Viljoen, Myrtos exudes a calm Mediterranean vibe, firstly. Together with circular tables are gathered around an olive tree, a symbol of peace, love, wisdom, and prosperity. Which resonates across cultures and is deeply rooted in ancient Greek mythology. Secondly, soft, moon like lighting and wave like fabric gently fluttering overhead, creat a sense of tranquility. Also the vibrant artwork by Greek artist Christos Raptis and mesmerizing glass panels from Cypriot artist Yorgos Papadopoulos bring the spirit of Myrtos beach. No detail has been overlooked. Then there is the selection of handcrafted ceramics, designed exclusively for Myrtos by Irin Lakka, beautifully complements the culinary offerings without overshadowing them. Each piece is meticulously made by hand in Lakka’s studio in Pelion, Greece. Reflecting the natural landscape with its texture, simplicity, and earthy quality.
