Piet x KidSuper Collaboration Melds Art, Football, and Craft

The Piet x KidSuper collaboration kicks off with a creative strike rooted in culture, craft, and the spirit of the game.
The Piet x KidSuper collaboration blends avant-garde textiles, streetwise silhouettes, and a deep love for the beautiful game into a collection that feels both unexpected and authentic. Led by Brazilian football icon Zé Roberto, the campaign bridges sport and fashion with unapologetic clarity. It’s a full-blown statement.
From Friendship to Fashion Force

Long before this high-profile release, Piet founder Pedro Andrade and KidSuper’s Colm Dillane were already creatively linked. Think less of a corporate partnership and more of an artistic alliance. The connection began years ago when Pedro and Caio Nakane, founder of the footwear label Viga, produced footwear for KidSuper’s regular line. That behind-the-scenes synergy laid the foundation for something far more ambitious and personal.
Now that KidSuper is gaining traction in Brazil, and with Colm’s long-standing connection to the country, where he once pursued a professional football career, the collaboration feels both natural and inevitable. It isn’t driven by trend cycles. Instead, it is rooted in a shared creative language built around football, friendship, and fearless fashion.

Where Craftsmanship and Creativity Collide
This is not just another designer link-up. Instead, the Piet x KidSuper collaboration is a bold textile experiment. Expect hand-painted illustrations, manual crochet, 3D knits, embroidered detailing, and technical innovations that blur the line between art and apparel. Piet brings surgical precision, while KidSuper infuses expressive energy and a distinct visual identity.
Moreover, the creative process was refreshingly intuitive. Although Colm was working remotely, he trusted Pedro’s team completely. In fact, he saw the final garments only one day before they debuted on the runway in Paris. That level of trust is rare in fashion and speaks volumes about their creative alignment.

Zé Roberto: The Campaign MVP
Choosing Zé Roberto as the face of the campaign was more than a strategic move. It was a continuation of the story. Known for his discipline, elegance, and iconic presence on and off the pitch, Zé mirrors the values both brands represent. Therefore, he’s not simply modeling the clothes. He’s embodying the legacy behind them.

Final Take
The Piet x KidSuper collaboration is not chasing attention. It is building something lasting. Rooted in mutual respect and shared cultural references, this partnership is a blueprint for what thoughtful, artist-led fashion can achieve. With football nostalgia, technical finesse, and bold visual language stitched into every piece, the result is far more than a drop. It is a declaration.
And if this is just the beginning, the full collection coming next year will hit even harder.

One day when I was barely two my mom let me push her out of her bedroom. She was curious so she ran outside the house so she could watch me through the window. I climbed up on a chair by her vanity and started putting on her makeup. I loved playing dress up as a kid. Putting on my mom's sequin tube tops and high heeled shoes and then putting on a dance show in the lobby or the restaurant of the hotel/residence we lived in. It was the best childhood ever. Dress-up, dancing, playing with barbies, and drawing were my favorite things to do. I have not changed one bit today. If I am creating I am happy.
Now I am in Paris for the second time in my life and I am having a ball playing with my partner in crime Julien Crouigneau. We founded IRK Magazine together in 2015 and we are proud to collaborate with some amazing artists, and influencers.
We are also a photography duo under the pseudonym French Cowboy. We love to tell stories and create poetic images that are impactful.
