Pressiat is the brand behind designer Vincent Garnier Pressiat who previously worked for Margiela, Galliano and Saint Laurent. For the first collection of Pressiat, the designer took references inspired by the victorian era and combined them with ultra-modern aspects to come up with garments that are glamerous but with hints of goth and emo. The variety of references and inspirations incorporated in the collection as well as the contradictions of old and new, joy and melancholy and silhouettes that are both light and aggressive is what makes this collection a real experience and underlines the talent of this young designer.
