QC Spa Torino is Turin’s Ultimate Wellness Hotspot

Sofie Kraus

Far from the typical vacation destinations, Turin emerges as the perfect setting for QC Spa of Wonders.

Turin, Often Called ‘Little Paris‘, Rivals the French Capital in Every Respect

Between the rush of daily life and the constant noise of the city, true relaxation often feels out of reach. IRK found the perfect place to recharge and unwind in a luxurious setting. Hidden in the city center of Turin, the Spa is located in the elegant Palazzo Abegga, a historic 19th-century residence. Set within a Renaissance style park amid rose gardens and century-old trees, QC Spa Torino offers a magical setting, particularly for couples seeking a cozy getaway.

A Legacy of Wellness: 12 Spa Centres & 376 Experiences

The Turin location is one of the 11 destinations where the QC Spa of Wonders offers its exceptional wellness experience. Since opening its doors in 2011, the Spa has set a standard, offering over 30 multi-sensory experiences inspired by the city’s history and cultural icons. It firstly all goes back to the brothers Saverio and Andrea Quadrio Curzio, who began their journey in 1998 by creating the first thermal centre in the heart of Valtellina. At its core, their concepts bring together wellness and nature, creating a space designed to restore both body and mind. Through a sensory-driven approach, it unfolds across a series of immersive water experiences, where light, sound, scent, and colour converge. Today, this vision extends beyond Italy, with destinations including Chamonix and New York City.

The Art of Wellbeing: The unique perks of QC Spa Torino

Each QC Terme location offers a signature immersion that transforms relaxation into something unforgettable. In Turin, for instance, drift beneath the night sky in the Cinema d’Acqua pool, where water, light and film create a truly immersive escape. The Spa features seven distinct saunas, each offering its own unique temperature, ambiance, and sensory experience. The varying heat levels blend with carefully curated scents and atmospheric lighting, including a cityscape sauna. The “Salt Room” feels like stepping into the future of beauty, home to the Photobioreactor Struna, a cutting-edge technology that cultivates micro algae to revitalise the skin from within. It’s a space where science and serenity merge, redefining what modern wellness can look like.

A personal highlight is the Tie Room: an intimate, living room-inspired sauna where time seems to slow. Soft jazz drifts through the air, while framed ties line the walls like curated relics of elegance. Meanwhile, your gaze wanders out towards the enchanting garden. A moment suspended between comfort and escape.

The wellness journey unfolds through a sequence of regenerative water rituals: steam baths, hydrotherapy circuits, and no fewer than eleven indoor pools. Each is designed to awaken the senses. Cascading waterfalls deliver sculpting, almost hypnotic massages, reconnecting you with a deeper, more instinctive sense of self. Outdoors, three pools invite you into the open air, culminating in the whimsical Giostra Delle Favole, a carousel-inspired sauna. As the day unfolds into the evening, don’t forget to take an aperitif at the restaurant, toasting not just to relaxation, but to a renewed state of being.
