Ronald Van der Kemp is a genius. His Haute Couture collection was one wearable work of art after another. He brings sexy yet elegant to Haute Couture the likes we have not seen since the 70s and 80s. This collection was built on nostalgia of the disco era and what a night to remember it would be if every woman was in a Ronald Van der Kemp. We would see a cowgirl in black and white with two chess knight motives on her chemise, a goddess in a structured gold gown, a lady in a fitted black jacket with a river of white fabric as its trim, and a gypsy in flowing pants and a gold turban.

This Dutch designer is not only a creative master he also has a strong conscience and since the creation of his demi-couture label, in 2014, he has been recycling past collections into new ones and his SS 2020 collection was entirely upcycled. In contrast to the fashion system he has proposed limited edition clothing that are timeless and ethically made with existing fabrics and crafted by hand in Amsterdam. So not only can we look fabulous we can feel comfortable knowing we are not hurting our fragile planet. Thank you Ronald Van der Kemp.
