Sev & Anthony: Creators of Anthology Paris and City Insiders

Paris isn’t just where Sev & Anthony live — it’s where they built Anthology Paris, the timeless footwear brand they lead as entrepreneurs. This vibrant city fuels their passion for fashion, music, and art every day. As stylists, entrepreneurs, and true Parisians, they know the best spots and hidden gems to share. Dive into their personal guide to the City of Light, full of culture, style, and authentic experiences.

Who are you?

We are Sev and Anthony, a couple of passionate creatives. Not only do we work as stylists and entrepreneurs, but we also live and breathe inspiration. First and foremost, we love to travel. Additionally, we’re drawn to music, fashion, photography, cinema, and theater. All of these passions fuel our creativity and guide everything we do—both in life and in our work with Anthology Paris.

What is the city, and why did you choose it?

Paris is our home. We live here, and above all, we adore this city for its rich culture. Day after day, it inspires us. Whether we’re walking through its streets or visiting an exhibition, Paris constantly feeds our minds. As a result, it keeps us creative, curious, and full of new ideas.

Best Restaurant & Why?

Cuisine at 50 rue Condorcet, 75009,Paris

There are so many great spots to choose from! However, if we had to pick just one, it would definitely be Cuisine. Located in the 9th arrondissement, this place stands out. On one hand, you have the precision of a Japanese chef. On the other, the refined taste of a French sommelier. Together, they create a fusion that’s both unexpected and unforgettable. Without a doubt, it’s truly worth the visit.

Date Night – Where, What, Why, and When?

New Morning, 7/9 R. des Petites Écuries, 75010 Paris

Le Verre Volé, 67 Rue de Lancry, 75010 Paris

Frequence, 20 Rue Keller, 75011 Paris

For Sev & Anthony, date night always means Thursday.

First, we head to New Morning—without a doubt, one of the coziest concert halls in Paris. In fact, some of the greatest jazz legends have played there. After soaking in the music, we move on to Le Verre Volé for a relaxed drink. Then, to keep the vibe going, we finish the night at Fréquence, where cocktails flow and vinyl tunes spin. All in all, it’s the perfect mix of sound, flavor, and atmosphere.

Street Food Choice

Dreamin Man, 12 Rue Perrée, 75003 Paris

When it comes to street food and coffee, we absolutely love Dreamin Man on Rue Perée and Rue Coquillière. To begin with, it’s an amazing coffee shop with a warm, welcoming vibe. Not only does it serve a great selection of specialty coffee, but it also offers some truly delicious pastries. For example, their banana bread and scones are must-tries. All things considered, it’s one of our go-to spots when we want something simple yet perfect.

Favorite Bar & Why?

Lolo Cave à Manger, at 12 Rue de Châteaudun, 75009 Paris

We’re totally hooked on Lolo Cave à Manger. To start with, the shared plates are always excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfect for grazing. Beyond that, the atmosphere feels effortlessly cool. Most importantly, though, we come for Loloherself 🙂 Honestly, she’s the real reason we keep coming back. All things considered, it’s more than just a bar—it’s a place that feels like home.

Favorite Pub & Why?

To be honest, we don’t visit pubs very often. However, when it’s time to watch a good football match, a pub is the perfect place. After all, nothing beats the energy, the crowd, and the classic pub vibe during a game.

Favorite Coffee Spot?

The list is long—too long to pick just one!

Café Mignon, 67 Rue Caulaincourt, 75018

Hanoï Café (for Vietnamese coffee!), 30 Boulevard des Italiens, 75009

Simple, 78 Rue des Martyrs, 75018

Name an Area of Paris You Love & Why

The Paris riverbanks truly have something special. Whether we’re walking, sitting, or just passing by, they always feel fluid and timeless. Time seems to slow down there. No matter the season, we always feel at ease—calm, inspired, and completely in the moment.

Favorite Museum?

Our favorites are:

Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, 2 Rue de Viarmes, 75001 Paris

Musée de l’Orangerie (for Monet’s Water Lilies), Jardin des Tuileries, 75001 Paris

Favorite Boutique / Shop in Paris ?

Bookshop at Palais de Tokyo, 13, avenue du Président Wilson 75116 Paris

Ogata at 16 Rue Debelleyme, 75003

The bookstore at Palais de Tokyo is always a must when I’m nearby. For one thing, their art book selection is spot-on—thoughtful, bold, and endlessly inspiring. In addition, I never miss a stop at Ogata. Located in the Marais, it’s a unique space that blends cuisine, matcha, ceramics, and art objects in the most refined way. Both places spark creativity and offer something unexpected every time.

Where Can You, Be Found on a Saturday Night in Paris?

Le Louxor, 170 Bd de Magenta, 75010 Paris

Saturdays are usually cinema nights. We love catching retrospectives at Louxor.

Where Do You Go for Some Peace and Quiet in Paris?

Parc Martin Luther King, 147 Rue Cardinet, 75017 Paris

Jardin du Luxembourg, place Edmond Rostand, 75006 Paris

Jardin des Tuileries, Place de la Concorde – 75001 Paris

Ville de Chantilly, 60500

Ville de Deauville, 14800

For Sev & Anthony, Paris parks are perfect when we want to escape the busy streets. For starters, we adore Parc Martin Luther King, Jardin du Luxembourg, and the Tuileries—they each have their own peaceful charm. But when we really need to get away, we head out of the city. That’s when we recharge in places like Chantilly or Deauville, where calm and nature take over completely.
