Who are you?
Stéphane Richard, President of Souleiado.
What is this city to you?
Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is undoubtedly one of the most iconic villages in the region, and fortunately, I have the chance to live here. It perfectly embodies everything I love about Provence, its rich heritage, timeless beauty, and relaxed lifestyle.
Best restaurant and why?
Le Château des Alpilles, 1392 Rte du Rougadou, 13210 Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
Le Château des Alpilles is a stunning Provençal estate, and it’s where our family comes together for life’s most meaningful moments. In fact, it’s much more than just a meal, it’s a ritual. Picture this: a plate of heirloom tomatoes freshly picked from local farms, a perfectly chilled glass of rosé from the Alpilles, and the soft shade of hundred-year-old plane trees overhead. Without a doubt, it feels like dreaming with your eyes wide open.
Best street food choice?
Although the Feria of Nîmes isn’t exactly in Saint-Rémy, it’s close enough to count. In fact, every June and September, the streets of Nîmes burst alive with vibrant bodegas, lively music, and endless energy. Furthermore, the festivities last well into the early hours, making it an absolutely unmissable event. Therefore, if you’re in the region during those months, it’s a must-see experience

Le Grand Café Riche, 27 Boulevard Marceau, 13210 Saint-Rémy-de-Provence France
Le Café de l’Industrie, 21, 19 Bd Mirabeau, 13210 Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
The bars of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence offer a wide range of experiences. From Le Marché to La Place, and from L’Industrie to Le Riche, each spot has its own unique personality. Moreover, there’s history in every cup and glass, truly Provence’s soul served in liquid form. Whether you’re after a lively atmosphere or a quiet moment, these bars deliver it all.

Place Favier.
It’s the village’s belly button, so to speak, the central pulse point for generations. Beautiful and ancient, it’s where stories begin and memories linger.
