Explode in color, take off to a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary and where the creative minds of artist couple Mia Macfarlane and Julien Crouigneau, also known as FRENCH COWBOY, created SOCK-IT!!! SOCK-IT is a POP culture series focused on long legs and SOCKS that play with the decor and are staged with humor and poetry!

French Cowboy's SOCK-IT series is funny, sexy and every photo in the collection tells a unique story. Out there ideas such as cat socks drinking milk or cliché ideas where is the missing sock are beautifully photographed so that not only are you amused by the ideas but you are taken in by the colors and composition as well.

This year you will not want to miss stopping by Gallery 2ArtAngel's stand #203 at FotoFever to see what French COWBOY has to say!

French Cowboy

French Cowboy was born in 2012 from the shared love for photography by Mia Macfarlane and Julien Crouïgneau. The artists have a strong desire to create their own images enriched by their experiences and cultures.

Julien is French and Mia was born in South Africa with Swedish and American nationality. Mia graduated from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) and the London College of Printing. She began her career as a painter and exhibited in several galleries in Europe and the USA. Julien studied design at ESDI (the School of Industrial Design) in Paris. Straight out of school, he had the opportunity to work with Philippe Starck. He then continued a very successful career as a product designer art director.

It was only when the Julien and Mia came together in 2012 that they both were drawn to photography and now in the artists words "Every day is an opportunity to create and we live to shoot!" We don't stop creating. A the end of every shoot we plan the next one, and then the next one. The world inspires us and we want to inspire it"
