GUNTHER FIRST BOUTIQUE IN PARIS

GUNTHER opens the doors of its first boutique in Paris with a bold mix of heritage and modern style. On June 18, 2025, the Parisian house launched its first physical space at 10 rue de Picardie, in the heart of the Marais. This moment marks a major step, turning Naomi Gunther’s hybrid vision into a real-world experience.

A Boutique that Breathes GUNTHER’s DNA

Walk into 40 m² that feels like a mix of moodboard, museum, and style studio. The ground-floor boutique combines vintage charm and floral wallpaper, 1940s armchairs, and an old coat rack.with clean lines and bold royal blue, similar to the raw denim used in GUNTHER collections.

Right below, the atelier and workshop mirror the space above. Consequently, this setup offers a live look into tailoring and made-to-order pieces. As a result, it feels like a studio, gallery, and dressing room all at once. Therefore, it invites you into the creative world of Gunther.

Hybrid Heritage Meets Modern Edge

Naomi Gunther wanted more than just a store. “I’m nostalgic for Colette—there was always something going on there,” she explains. This boutique is a place for art, music, DJ sets, workshops, and community events. As such, each visit becomes an experience.

Clearly, GUNTHER still focuses on soft-tailoring. This means luxury you can wear every day—relaxed cuts, fine fabrics, and a hint of street style. Moreover, the boutique takes that story further, blending craft, culture, and creativity.

Introducing Les Essentiels: Simple and Stylish

Alongside the opening, Les Essentiels is now available only at the boutique. This new “foundation wardrobe” offers key everyday items. Shirts, polos, pants, and jackets. Prices range from €70 to €370. Therefore, this is 20-25% lower than the main line, making the brand more accessible.

Importantly, GUNTHER stays true to slow fashion. All pieces are made locally in Paris or Portugal. In addition, they use quality or recycled materials and are designed to last beyond trends.

What This Means for GUNTHER

Since 2019, GUNTHER has grown online and through select shops in Seoul, Dubai, and soon, New York. Naomi Gunther tested the waters with pop-ups. In the end, they proved that physical stores build trust, real connections, and brand loyalty.

Now, this boutique is more than a store. It’s a living showroom. A working studio. A place to connect. Furthermore, it marks a shift toward managing more retail directly.

Final Take: Style, Community, and Culture

This boutique is not a copy of other shops. Instead, it’s a true statement. It shows Naomi Gunther’s idea of fashion that blends history with modern life. With Les Essentiels, more people can join the GUNTHER world. Similarly, with a real store, the brand now speaks more clearly and with more power.

In today’s world, where people want real experiences, GUNTHER’s space in the Marais gives just that. You get clothes to wear, a space to enjoy, and a brand that feels personal.

Gunther is Located in the Marais district at 10 rue de Picardie, 75003 Paris, France.

One day when I was barely two my mom let me push her out of her bedroom. She was curious so she ran outside the house so she could watch me through the window. I climbed up on a chair by her vanity and started putting on her makeup. I loved playing dress up as a kid. Putting on my mom's sequin tube tops and high heeled shoes and then putting on a dance show in the lobby or the restaurant of the hotel/residence we lived in. It was the best childhood ever. Dress-up, dancing, playing with barbies, and drawing were my favorite things to do. I have not changed one bit today. If I am creating I am happy.

Now I am in Paris for the second time in my life and I am having a ball playing with my partner in crime Julien Crouigneau. We founded IRK Magazine together in 2015 and we are proud to collaborate with some amazing artists, and influencers.

We are also a photography duo under the pseudonym French Cowboy. We love to tell stories and create poetic images that are impactful.
